- Job timeline: A single-stage correction on a well-maintained vehicle takes 4–6 hours. Two-stage correction runs 8–12 hours. Multi-stage correction on heavily damaged paint takes 12–24+ hours across multiple days. We assess your vehicle's defect level and quote an accurate time before you book.
- Pre-correction inspection is required: We use a paint depth gauge and inspection lighting to map defect severity across every panel before starting. This determines which correction stages are appropriate and prevents removing too much clear coat on thin or previously-worked panels.
- Vehicle lives at our Garner shop during correction: Multi-stage jobs span 2–3 days. The vehicle needs to be completely clean and dry when it arrives — no fresh wax, sealant, or ceramic top-coats on the paint surface before the inspection.
